Built for delivery, not just code.

AI coding assistants help you write code. Orchestrate helps you deliver the whole project: guided sessions from assessment to deployment, connected to your systems, with a knowledge layer that carries lessons from one project to the next. Work on your own or with your team.

At a glance

The AI underneath can be just as capable. The difference is the product built around it.

Four differences

What changes when AI works on the whole project

01

Built around delivery, not only code

Orchestrate has a session type for each stage of a project: assessing an org, designing a solution, building it, reviewing it and deploying it. Each session connects to the systems the work touches, such as your org, your repository and your project tool.

An AI coding assistant focuses on the code in front of you. The rest of the project happens somewhere else.

02

Guided sessions, not prompt engineering

Before a task starts, Orchestrate asks for the details it needs, so you spend less time rewriting prompts. You answer in plain language, so anyone can use it, whatever their experience.

With a coding assistant, results depend on how well you write prompts.

03

A knowledge layer that gets smarter, on every plan

Orchestrate records lessons, key decisions, issues and outcomes as you work, and carries them into your next session and your next project. A data-mapping lesson from one NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud migration informs the next one. On Team plans, that knowledge is shared across the team.

With a coding assistant, what carries over is mostly what you write down yourself.

04

Start on your own, grow into a team

Individual plans give one person the full product for a set monthly price. When others join the work, Team plans add shared projects, one pooled usage allowance, and an admin console with per-person limits and alerts.

With coding assistants, each developer’s work and usage usually stay separate.

Which one is right for you?

Choose Orchestrate if…

  • You deliver projects, not just code: assessments, designs, builds, reviews and deployments
  • You work across your org, your repository and your project tool
  • You want lessons and decisions from one project to carry into the next
  • Admins, consultants or business users take part, not only developers
  • You work with others now, or will later, and want to control what the team spends

A coding assistant may be enough if…

  • Your work is mostly writing code in your editor
  • You’re comfortable writing and refining your own prompts
  • You don’t need project history beyond the current session

Many people use both: a coding assistant for quick edits in the editor, and Orchestrate for the project work around it.

Common questions

Can’t I just use an AI coding assistant?

For writing code, it may be all you need. The gap shows up in the rest of the project: assessing an org, designing a solution, reviewing and deploying it, and remembering what you learned last time. Orchestrate is built for that work.

I work on my own. Is Orchestrate for me?

Yes. Individual plans give one person every session type, every connector and the knowledge layer, for a set monthly price. If you bring in teammates later, you can move to a Team plan.

Does Orchestrate replace the tools I already use?

It doesn’t have to. You can keep a coding assistant for quick edits in your editor. Orchestrate is where the project work, decisions and history live.

Who can use Orchestrate?

Consultants, developers, admins, IT and business users. Sessions start with guided questions in plain language, so you don’t need to be an engineer to get useful work done.

What changes when I add teammates?

Team plans add shared projects, so teammates can see a session and continue it. Usage goes into one pool for the whole team, and admins get a console with usage by person, per-person limits and alerts.

How do I keep AI costs under control?

Every plan has a set monthly price and allowance, and you can buy a credit pack in a busy month. On Team plans, admins can set limits per person and get alerts as the pool runs down. See pricing for details.
