An NDA from the start

Accept our mutual NDA when you submit the form. It covers both sides’ confidential information, the temporary user and installing the Orchestrate connector. If you’d rather use your own NDA, choose that option and we’ll sign it before we touch your org.

You control access

  • You create the user and choose its profile.
  • Use a full sandbox if you prefer.
  • Deactivate the user or uninstall the connector at any time, and our access ends immediately.
  • The deliverables are yours to use with anyone.

About you
This helps us keep them in the loop.
1 · Give us temporary access

That’s all we need from your org: a temporary user. We don’t need your Org ID or any other technical details. Once you add the user, we sign in from the welcome email, install the Revecast Orchestrate connector and run the assessment.

Which org are you giving us access to?
A full sandbox works well if you’d rather keep us away from live data.
  1. Sign in as a Salesforce administrator to the org you want assessed.
  2. Go to Setup → Users → New User. Salesforce explains each field in Add a Single User.
  3. Set Email to assess@revecast.io. Set Username to something unique to your org, such as revecast.assess@yourcompany.com.
  4. Choose the Salesforce user license and the System Administrator profile. Installing the connector requires admin rights.
  5. Tick Generate new password and notify user immediately, then click Save. The welcome email goes to our team.
  6. When we’ve walked you through the results, deactivate the user. You can also deactivate it at any time before then.

FAQ

Salesforce org assessment questions

Will you see our customer or record data?

The assessment analyzes your org’s configuration, not the contents of your records, and we don’t export or keep record data. The temporary user does have the access you give it. If you’d like to keep it away from live data, run the assessment against a full sandbox.

Why do you need a System Administrator user?

Installing the Revecast Orchestrate connector requires admin rights. Apart from installing it, we don’t make changes to your org without your written approval. You can deactivate the user and uninstall the connector at any time.

Is it safe to run in production?

Yes. The Salesforce org assessment reads configuration and doesn’t change your setup. If you’d feel more comfortable, start with a sandbox.

Do I need to be a Salesforce expert?

No. You need a Salesforce admin for the access step, which takes about 5 minutes. We take care of everything else.

What if my situation doesn’t fit the examples?

That’s fine. Describe it in your own words, and we’ll tailor the assessment to it.

How and when do I get my results?

When your assessment is ready, we email you so you can pick a time for a results call with a Revecast architect. Your Salesforce account executive may join too. We send the full deliverable pack after the call.
